PROJECT FOR FINANCIAL DEPARTMENT AT CARLSBERG GROUP

 

The goal was to have One Number Only for how the company is performing, including at market level, which required a standardization process.

Our team had hands-on with Data Ingestion activities using Data Lake, Data Factory and Databricks, for the Transformation we also used Databricks.

Important to highlight that with Databricks there was the need to optimize and master how Databricks/Sparks works so we could get the best out of it.

For the Reporting part, we used Azure Analysis Services and Power BI, our team also here had to optimize the models as the existing ones were not complying with a end-user experience that actually adds value to the business decisions.

Our team has also been involved in other projects at Carlsberg with the need to use/incorporate Machine Learning models to Identify & Predict trends.
